Fin N Quiz
A fun and informative brain teasing initiative gets circulated online every week, enabling club members to think and analyze the finer aspects of business. The quiz is also part of the interactive FinClub board placed in the bustling MBA Lounge, frequented by most MBA students to work on projects, snooze, catch up on the FT or just chill!
VC/PE
An exciting new initiative by the club that helps students gain a deeper insight into the process of “buying and building” deals through interactive sessions with Venture Capitalists and Private Equity professionals. The planned networking events and projects would give participants a first hand understanding of the aspects of working in this industry.
Virtual Stock Exchange
This virtual online game keeps participants awake till the wee hours, checking on the progress of their mock portfolios based on the trading strategies implemented by them. Participants create portfolios which are updated on the actual movements of the stock prices. As good as trading in the real world, without losing real money!
Resume Review
A key activity conducted during Sem1 is the finalization of resumes to articulately portray student's strengths in their resume. The initiative run by seniors involve review of resumes and providing feedback on improvisation and refinement
Bloomberg Training
Access to reliable information is critical in the world of Finance. To cater to this very need, the Club facilitates Bloomberg training sessions for interested students. A regular monthly update is also provided on their training sessions enabling students to pursue the trainings they wish to.
Horses Mouth
This in house information sharing session involves batchmates sharing their past experience. This initiative is aimed at helping members get a holistic insight and understand of the various organization structures and the specific descriptions of roles and responsibilities
